Quantic Beats

Movement and music, built with our community · All Events

Meditation, yoga, strength, HIIT, cardio and dance, with live DJ sets running underneath all of it. Kids come. Grandparents come. People who have never set foot in a gym come, stand in the back, and do it anyway.

On the surface it looks like a workout with good music. It is not. Here is what Quantic Beats is actually for, in the order that matters.

Why

We believe adults deserve places to gather that build them up instead of wearing them down.

Look honestly at how adult social life is organized in this country. Most of it happens around a drink. If you do not drink, or you are taking a break, or you simply want to be around people without needing something to take the edge off, your options narrow fast. Meanwhile loneliness is doing measurable damage to people’s health, and the usual prescription is to go find community, as if community were sitting on a shelf somewhere waiting to be picked up. Quantic Beats exists because we got tired of waiting for someone else to build the room we wanted to be in.

How

We let the body go first, so the conversation does not have to.

Walking up to a stranger and making conversation is hard. Standing next to a stranger and moving to the same beat is not. That is the whole design. Researchers who study group movement have found that people who move in time with each other tend to report feeling closer afterward, and tend to tolerate discomfort better while they are doing it. Anyone who has been in a room where everyone lands the same beat at the same moment already knows this in their body. We just built an event around it.

The structure does the rest. We open soft, with meditation and breath, so that nobody walks in cold and is immediately asked to perform. Then mobility, then strength, then the heart rate climbs, then dance, then we land. Our trainers do not stay on a platform. Some teach, some circulate through the room adjusting posture, and some are simply in it with you. There is no front row and no back row, there is just the room.

What

A sober, all ages, four hour movement and music gathering, built with local DJs, local trainers and local businesses.

Come as you are, leave elevated. Sliding scale, always, because the cost of a ticket should never be the reason someone stays home. Bring your kids. Bring the friend who says they are not a gym person. They will be fine.

When is the next one?

Quantic Beats runs quarterly. The next one lands in the new year, and newsletter subscribers hear the date first. Follow along on Instagram or get in touch to be on the list.

September 19, 2026 at Urban Orchard

We filled Urban Orchard with four hours of movement and music, and it was everything we hoped the room could be.

Quantic Beats is not something we put on. It is something a group of people built together, most of them for far less than their work was worth, because they believed in what the room could be. Here is who made September 19 happen.
